I know a lot of you guys come and see my clips on You Tube. If you wouldn't mind...when you see comments such as the one on this clip saying I should cut my nails... why not leave a positive comment? I honestly don't think this is so much to ask.

You know BBG, I did not post this thread to start a debate on smoking. I do plan on quitting and I will do so when the time is right. Since I started selling clips on clips4sale, the smoking clips have out sold everything else I have posted by miles. I have posted fingernail clips and feet clips and hose clips and smoking clips. Of all the different groups I do work for, the smoking group is by far the most interested in my clips.

With you having a woman in your life that has long fingernails I would like to think it upsets you if someone remarks in an unflattering way about her fingernails as I know you both adore them. Are you the kind of man that would just stand by and have her defend herself? Maybe so and if so I hope she finds one better.

Yet once again, you demonstrate the short fuse and venom that lurks inside of you Arinda. To attack someone that obviously has nothing but your best interest in mind just shows the lack of foresight and overwhelming need for approval and admiration that you harbor. And if you want to be honest, there will be no right time for you to quit smoking. It is a passion and addiction that you have that not even the threat of cancer has taken from you. I see where the negative comments are upsetting to you, but since our forefathers saw fit to provide for a country of free speech, then these negative sentiments need to be expected and prepared for given the universal forums that you have chosen to participate in. I would venture to say BBG tries in every way to protect the dignity of his wife and others and to suggest that his wife seek solice in the confort of another man is, to say the least, very vindictive and linked to your own insecurities I would suspect. In conclusion, smoke all you want if that's what makes you happy. Sells all the videos you want, if that's what makes you happy. I know you are a very intellegent woman yet your patience lacks the virtue and wisdom that I'm sure you can some day come to achive.

All I had asked was that when these comments are seen that a postive one be left to off set it. What do I get from the men... more negative crap. I suppose this does go to show the difference between men and women once more. Thank you KD and Lady Death too.

One more note....cigarettes did not cause my breast cancer. Hormones did. Testing of the tumors showed this to be the case.

I stand besides Arinda not in order to berate the good intentions guys have towards her health, but to show once again that we girls are mature and can think by ourselves.
I guess all the people on this forum are adults. We have consented to gather here and share our experiences, our thoughts, our photos.
Arinda smokes. I smoked for 8 yrs, quit for 2 yrs, now I am smoking again. Yes, I am only 24, so I started smoking at an early age.
I wonder when will people understand that adults know what they are doing and stop lecturing. Some people tell me how to dress, how to wear my nails and it upsets me.
Do you think Arinda does not know smoking damages her health? Do you think she lives somewhere secluded and has no access to information? All she has to do is read the lid of her ciggs packs. But she chose to smoke, as she chose to prefer green clothing. Also, she chose to reveal so much of her life to all of you, and this is what she gets in return: ppl trying to control her.

Do you know that many people think long nails are disgusting? Many people do. And do you understand what a fetish is? You have no control over what turns you on. And there are many who enjoy smoking as a fetish, regardless of what they know about the health risks.

And you state BBG comment was caring, I beg to differ its just stating the obvious and as you can see from above he has a habit of just being negative. Go through the posts he has done and see how many positive posts there are. Other then "his babes" pictures he doesn't have many nice things to say. And remember these are his words above, not mine. And honestly the fact he refers to them as "OUR nails" I find very demeaning. His sense of ownership over his girlfriend, (who I think is a sweetheart) and her nails is very 18th century. And if you look at the post here (http://www.nailbytes1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4792) it just seems that there should be no question, "girlfriend I say, you do" as that is the advice he dools out as well.

And for the record, I don't smoke, but I do eat sugary treats a lot. Sorry BBG, I know it isn't good for me. I have been known to eat white bread but not any more as I should steer clear of all wheat products, (talk about a pain in the ass!)

Of course I realise they aren't ignorant to the danger, and of course I realise they're adults and can do as they please. If someone smokes because they really love the taste or feel of it, then so be it. However I will say that it's sad if a gal puts herself at serious health risk because others out there find watching a woman smoke is a turn-on. So for you LNB's who smoke, should you ever decide to quit, millions of us non-smoking gents will find you all the more attractive.

I will certainly agree with you that I hate seeing people killing themselves with cigarettes. However, the problem here is that practically every post I've seen BBG make seems to be written to purposely incite people, and that's exactly the effect it's had. Perhaps his sole intention was to say "I care about you, and don't want to see you do yourself harm." Perhaps not.

BBG, I personally think Spinnie had exactly the right amount of time on his hands. I tend to ignore most of your comments as so many of them do seem negative. I don't recall ever reading a post of yours and thinking that you were trying to be funny, and i'm a pretty sarcastic guy, so I tend to get it most of the time.

How this thread got so out of hand I have no clue. Arinda simply asked for a little positive feedback help. What's wrong with that? I personally tend not to watch smoking videos because it's not my thing. However, I can still appreciate the fact that she takes the time to share her nails with all of us who come here to LOVE LONG NAILS. This forum is designed for us to be able to get a look at long nails, which we all love. So why not help out with a little positive feedback rather than find ways to be negative? There's just no point in the negativity. If you don't want to say something nice or helpful, then just shut up and don't say anything. There are plenty of pictures posted on this forum where the nails, or the smoking involved, or whatever it may be, aren't "My Thing." Rather than commenting about how I don't like it, I just don't comment and move on to something I do like. And you know what.... it's not hard.

this was really not BBG's post, it was mine. All I asked for were some kind comments when you see a post saying I should cut my fingernails. I hate the way BBG derailed my intent...as he often does due to the fact that staying on point seems not his style.

My dear friends that have backed me in this battle of smokers and non, thank you very much. I seriously do know that smoking is not good for me (and I cannot tell you how many times this month I have said that it saddens me the smoking clips are doing so much better than all others)...nor is the coffee I go for on weekend mornings with camera in hand so I can share with you all... nor are the sweets which I also meam to quit (maybe sooner rather than later as I may have found my macro mate)... nor are the chemicals used to keep my nails looking so lovely (should they happen to be of your liking)... nor are so many other things in our less than organic enviroment.

Now I would lilke to get back on point...please, if you happen to see one of my postings and someone has left a less than favorable comment just leave something on the postive side. That really was all I was asking for. Don't you all think we have now wasted enough time flaming? Death to no one. Please to all. Come see my pics and videos IF they are to your taste. Say a kind word and if the words you would leave are not kind...take them some where else.

I never seem to run out of people asking for something I am currently not doing. This is my very first French and I did it as I have been asked to do it practically from the very start. I do red from time to time...mostly red sort of holidays and beause I am asked for it ALLLLLL the time. I am asked for plain fingernails with no bling and I have done this from time to time. All of these things are fingernail related and have nothing to do with me smoking. When I started this all I was asking for was some positive feedback from people I know come and see my stuff...I see the number of hits things get. There was no reason to bring my smoking up here. BBG has mentioned this to me in private and in comments on MS numerous times. If he never mentioned it to me again I would be cool with that. There is a HUGE difference between constructive and destructive. I get that as I am sure most of us do.

As for me and my sense of humor... I leave happy and in tact!

The problem is its not an opinion that is the issue, its the tack and the consistency of saying negative things. And in this particular case, over and over, in public and private to Arinda.

But take a moment, look at the links I posted. Time and again you will see negative comments. And these are BBG words. Not anyone elses. If its something he isn't into he calls it "crap" or "stupid" and yet he considered that humorous. If my likes or interests are called "crap" or "stupid" I don't see how that is humorous or constructive.

If you didn't check out the links I posted I suggest you do so you see with the regularity that his posts are negative.

And I was going to post a rather long rant on the happenings in this topic, but also figured that too many people are going to misinterpret what I have to say, so I will rather not say it, for fear of being painted into a corner I don't wish to be in.
It's just a sad day though when people of the same community start turning on each other, when maybe a cool head is all one needs.

I agree with you 100%! I get so tired of all the negative comments We as LNB receive! If you don't find Long Nails Attractive.....then you don't have to look at our pictures! Someone on Flicker called us and others all kinds of weird names! Its OK with me!! Cause talk is cheap! I'm sure if we knew them, the people or person that has nothing good to say about us,we would find something about them we do'nt like also...or don't understand! Its like judging the Book by its cover!
