Well, it isn't any different than what Dave did. He collected, copied and sold other people's work as well.

You simply can't tell if the clip on clip4sale is the same copy as the one on youtube.

Dave also paid the original owner, usually a dollar a minute, or he paid the people on the video he made. I think Dave took the video of the girl in this sample himself.

Does anybody know where Dave Cutter is these days? Last thing I remember he was having some business troubles and announced on one of the message boards that he would be unable to participate in "nail activity". That was long before the days of youtube. He was a real gent to exchange emails with and I cant believe he doesnt want to carry on what he used to do. Perhaps he was unlucky and found himself locked up? I'd love to know coz the guy is a hero.

DC is a star.
I remember buying a few vids of Dave back in the good old days when the internet nails thing was pretty new.
Anyway, I was in the UK and a little worried about sending off money on spec like that to someone I didn't know. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I needn't have worried at all...Dave sent the vids on to me very quickly with a few nice notes too.
A real gent and a real pleasure to do business with. I hope he makes a return one day.

PS: "Versatile Fashions" were pretty good to deal with too in those days...I ordered a few videos from them and they always delivered them promptly and with courtesy. My problems arose this side of the Atlantic where over zealous customs officers confiscated a few of them...too much "mild sctatching" for an adult to choose to watch you see. Talk about "Nanny" state!

Asking if them they had Dave Cutter's approval, were working with Dave Cutter, or if Dave and Kat were getting any of the proceeds, etc., and I never got a response.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Well, if they really have Dave's "master tapes", then it would seem he is involved, or can't say no... :confused:. Since he was trying to sell them back in the day, it would seem he has found someone to use the newest means to continue.

Wish he would come back. He's a good guy.
