If you can go back in time, who would you like to receive some nail scratching from?

Personally, for me...Mercedes Ruehl scratching my chest...Meryl Streep on my back...Marina Sirtis on my face and Robin Lively on both my arms. This next poll is based on best manicure and/or best pedicure.

I don't know that most of those women are known for long nails. I don't remember ever seeing Catherine Zeta Jones or Princess Diana or some of those others with long nails. They may have worn nail polish, but that's really not the same. Out of the list, I'd probably go with Kathie Lee. Even though she hasn't worn her nails long like that in years, they were truly amazing.

However, if I could go off the board, I think I'd love to have my back scratched by Mrs. Fields, of Mrs. Fields Cookies fame. Damn did she have amazing nails. I've been watching a lot of MASH reruns lately, and I was reminded of the great nails that Loretta Swit had, so I'd love to have a run-in with her. Then there are the classics like Cher, who I probably couldn't have been in the same room with back in the 70s without messing my pants.

She was a women's rights activist in the 70's, from Toledo, Ohio. For a while she was a playboy bunny. Always had long hair, and really long fingernails. I had dreams about her scratching me. I wonder what happened to her.

Gloria Steinem had personal setbacks throughout the 80's and 90's, including breast cancer in 1986 and trigeminal neuralgia in 1994. The following year, she became an advocate for children she believed had been sexually abused by caretakers in day care centers. On September 3, 2000, she married David Bale, the father or actor Christian Bale, three years later, David died of brian lymphoma on December 30, 2003 at the age of 62. Steinem appeared in a documentary film called "I Had An Abortion" in 2005. That is the last thing she said. She's still kicking and still has her nails.
