On the subject of Coko, I managed to get a DVD copy from the BBC of SWV's first appearance on 'Top Of The Pops' performing 'I'm So Into You'. I always remember watching it when it was first shown in the mid-1990s and it definitely had a big impact on me.....

Is the 'Top of the Pops' DVD with SWV commercially available, Matt? I'd love to get more good quality videos of them.

I first learn't about Coko from ISOlngnail's pioneering long nail web site: The Amazing Nails Page in the mid-90's. I had never seen beautiful nails as long as this before, so I was totally blown away when I first saw video stills of them. Although SWV weren't really what I was into musically back then, over time I've developed a real liking for their music.

No, the DVD is not commercially available. I had to go through the 'Contributor Access' section of the BBC to get hold of the DVD (and pay a hefty fee....) to get hold of it. It was definitely worth it though.

Ill remeber the episode ofTOTP BBC. Her nails were yellow painted, really sexy. I got in my vhs collection, but i've got 2 many tapes. So finding itback is a lot of time. She 's on myspace also!!http://www.myspace.com/sisterwithvoices

and have it on an old videotape somewhere. Her nails were banana yellow and her index fingernail was broken short but she hid it behind a wall of other nails for the whole song. I have posted a picture of Coko without nails but with toenails for those interested over at Nailpassion picture post.
