One of the challenges I am facing these days is finding time to do the things i enjoy, or at least have enjoyed doing for the past 10 years here on the net, and specifically, that is keeping this website up to date.

I havn't done a very good job of this lately. The benchmark i set for myself 10 years ago when we started was set quite high as I had time on my hands, a business that ran itself, and time was available on almost a daily basis.

The easy thing to do would be to just give up and end it. I'm not quite ready to do that yet. In 10 years we've overcome some hurdles and challenges that I never thought we'd be able to handle. But it all worked out in the end.

I'm hoping this "Daily Dose" helps to overcome some of these time issues one teeny tiny little bit at a time. If nothing else, I'll be forced to consider updating this feature on a regular basis.

Ultimately, it might be nice to have to end those huge updates we do and break them up into smaller parts. I get a lot of contributions still, after all this time, and an awaful lot of encouragement from a few of you out there, but like any other webmaster, after all the work is done, does it all really matter. Does it really make a difference to anyone. I'll spend 12 - 18 hours on Monday updating the site and get little reaction to it all. I'd like to think I can spend my time more intelligently and more wisely.

The Daily Dose has no format, and no long term plans. We'll just wing it day to day. If it survives, good for me. if not, so be it.
