Fremont Street
No nails in this gallery, just some shots I took while walking with Charlie on Fremont Street. We visited the all but abandoned Neonopolis area that was once a thriving little spot. It seems all the stores have moved out and the only thing left is the multiplex theatres. One thing was added, a bridge leading to the big bar across the street beside Fitzgeralds Hotel Casino.
Also, we walked from there to "Fremont Street East", a newly designated hot spot by the city as a theatre district. The roads have been improved, sidewalks widened, it's all fancied up now and the walk from the safe haven of Fremont to El Cortez Hotel Casino has now been extended. Just a great improvement overall at the east end of what we've known up to now as The Fremont Street Experience.
