Way back in November we were reading about a trip Arinda Stormweaver made to California to meet up with some friends. We'd seen messages on the BBS and she made mention of it on her My Space page. We were excited about this as she was to meet several people on a particular weekend and these community meetings usually result in great photo opportunities.
Since that time, the info and pictures have been slow coming! But we're here today to present a really high quality Arinda set as photographed by her good friend Paaul. Underline great quality as these pics were huge and shot with a fantastic high MP camera and the poses and settings are superb.
We have 44 shots, the complete set! We appreciate the fact these two sent them to us to be shared. We'll see Arinda's "Juicy" design set here as she describes it, and as i said before, the clarity and quality is fantastic. Kudos to Arinda and Paaul for doing this.
I asked Arinda to write a few words about the weekend and here is what she came up with:
My trip to LA was brief. I flew in Friday evening. Getting out of CLE proved to be much more difficult than returning. Between the weather and air sick children my arrival was delayed by about three hours. Seeing as I only had 36 hours there, time was precious.
As you may know, I posted to try and get a small fingernail gathering together. There were a few locals to reply. One dear man upon finding out the gathering was to be at 7am started calling himself the "Dawn Patrol". After getting to bed at 1am, my phone woke me at 6am...the Dawn Patrol was on the road. It seems some one did notice that the gathering was for Sunday. Ah well, who needs sleep when on vacation!
I was greeted with a big warm hug and a lovely string of hand strung Hawian nuts. He watched as I finished my make-up... minus my foundation as I forgot to pack it. He invited me to breakfast and after getting lost in the hallways we ended up taking the stairs down. Once down, I had opted to eat outside. My breakfast companion made apologies as I was a Northerner that had no idea that it was cold out there LOL. A table was promptly made up for us and we ate and laughed and took pics. I took pics and he took pics. These are the pics he so graciously gave me. Now I share with Editor and you.
I cannot help but wonder where my next adventure will lead....maybe Germany!
Hey Arinda, the possibilities are endless, that meeting could be anywhere around the world of course, only time will tell.
OK, time for the pictures. Once again, thanks to both Arinda Stormweaver and Paaul for doing this fine set, and for sending it along to Nailbytes to post.
