Conventions
As January draws to a close, we think that this would be a good time to remind everyone that would be interested in attending one of those nail conventions, now is the time to collect your thoughts and start seriously thinking about IBS 2010.
IBS is the International Beauty Show held usually in June every year at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. This year, IBS decided to move the convention up two months and hold it in April. As we write this piece, it's less than 90 days away. If you're interested, start by going to the following link and checking out the location, dates & events. Our community meeting and get together is a completely different event and has little to do with this actual IBS Show. However, many indutry people will be there that weekend and if it's your intention to meet people within the industry, this is the time to go. We are now going on ten years of attending these things in one form or another and I can tell you that my expectations have always been exceded in every way.
Our events are actually much more exciting that just a plain old industry trade show. We schmooze, we play, we gamble and we experience the best that Las Vegas has to offer. Check out the link and ask questions of anyone who has ever attended what they think. Hope to see many newbies and returnees in April.
Archives
We started to re-upload our archive section back on January 16th. You'll recall that the old archive was lost when nailbytes.com went down. Currently that domain is in limbo. We're trying to get it back from the IP that has control of it as a result of a management shuffle with the people we used to deal with. In any event, we are currently working little by little at getting it all back up on line on this nailbytes1.com server. Keep any eye on the archive link regularly as we're reposting the archive pictures in huge blocks. Currently we have a few thousand of the 50,000+ pictures so I imagine that it will take several months to complete the task. Your new link to the archive is here:
